Jaffurs Wine Cellars is a negociant-style winery that is dedicated to crafting California's finest expressions of Rhone varieties. In 1994, Craig Jaffurs produced his first professional vintage. He worked intimately with the vineyard’s growers to limit yields and encourage optimal harvest results through sustainable farming practices. Jaffurs’ twenty-plus vintages are a testament to long-term relationships and unwavering dedication to the craft of wine-making. In 2016, Craig sold the operation to winemaker and Boston native, Dan Green. Dan’s vision has escorted Jaffurs into the next stages of evolution--including the production of Burgundian varieties--while retaining the winery’s established fruit sourcings and uncompromising quality. Years later, Jaffurs remains a mainstay of Santa Barbara winemaking.
